Get ready for Veri*Factu before the 2027 rush.
Spain's new invoicing rules affect almost every business. BillBee is already built around them — no extra setup needed.
Spain's new invoicing software rules, explained simply.
Veri*Factu (also called SIF — Sistema de Información Fiscal) is part of Spain's drive to make invoicing more transparent and harder to falsify.
From 2027, invoicing software must create secure, tamper-proof records with digital fingerprints (hash chains), QR codes, and the ability to submit records to the AEAT (Spain's tax office).
BillBee does all of this automatically. Every invoice you create already has a hash chain, QR code, and is stored in the correct format.
When does Veri*Factu become mandatory?
Source: AEAT official guidance. Always confirm your specific obligations with your gestor.
Businesses paying Corporation Tax in Spain must use compliant invoicing software from this date.
Self-employed and most other businesses must comply six months later.
Many businesses will rush to switch software in late 2026. Starting with BillBee now means your records are already in the correct format — with no last-minute scramble.
